Come explore the wild spaces of the Black Rock Desert NCA during a weekend focused on conservation, education, community, and stewardship with Friends of Black Rock, Stewards of the Black Rock Desert, and BLM.

What to expect:

• Educational talks on emigrant history and geology

• Guided day trips (Rabbit Hole Springs, Guru Road, Steamboat hike, Gerlach art tour, bike rides, and native plant walks)

• Hot spring visits

• Live music (featuring The Dustperados!)

• Community meals, including a Dutch oven cook off 

Friday, May 22

• 5 PM – Arrival and camp setup

Saturday, May 23

• 8 AM – Breakfast

• 9 AM – Orientation (activity details + safety info)

• 12 PM – Day trips depart

• 5 PM – Return to camp

• 6 PM – Potluck dinner + Dutch oven cook-off

Sunday, May 24

• 8 AM – Breakfast

• 10 AM – Hot Spring Tour & stewardship activities at Trego

• Evening – Dinner (TBD) + campfire talks, music, and entertainment

Monday, May 25

• 8 AM – Breakfast

• Leave No Trace cleanup before departure
